| Description of the
contents, the workplan, the steps, the approach or the methodology
Since 1995, UNIPRESS has offered from own budget scholarships for young researchers. The participation of foreign students in our research contributed considerably to the international character of our research groups. The positive experiences show that the scholarship programme should be extended. The present workpackage will permit to increase the number of scholarships offered and to extend the range of countries students are coming from. The scholarships will be addressed to students and scholars from European Countries. Three types of scholarships are planned: Student, PhD, and Postdoc. The scholarship allowance will be set using the guidelines of UNIPRESS. In addition to the living expenses and travel expenses, some funds will be foreseen for the Scholars to travel to international and national conferences, participation in the HPS, and to visit other Polish scientific institutes as well as the consumables or small equipment purchases necessary for the scholars. The equipment necessary for research and training will be supplied by UNIPRESS. The procedure of implementation of the program will include: setting and announcing the rules of the program, launching a call for applications, selecting the students, periodic survey of their research and training progress. The program will be carried out under supervision of the REFEREEING COMMISSION and INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL. The amount of the scholarship is negotiable, depending on the qualification of the applicant, time of stay, and available funds. Priority will be for applications in fields according to the workpackages list and to applications from other "Centers of Excellence" .
