FNP 2025 Awards Gala
The 34th FNP Awards, often referred to as the “Polish Nobel Prizes,” were presented. During the ceremony on December 3, 2025, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Prof. Krzysztof Pyrć emphasized that the mission of the Foundation for Polish Science is “to support the best so that they can become even better.”
Congratulations to the winners, including Prof. Wojciech Knap from the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the CENTERA Laboratory at CEZAMAT, Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Ewelina Knapska from the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dorota Gryko from the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Anna Matysiak from the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw.
The Foundation for Polish Science Award is granted for outstanding scientific achievements and discoveries that push the boundaries of knowledge and open up new cognitive perspectives, make an outstanding contribution to the civilizational and cultural progress of our country, and secure Poland a significant place in tackling the most ambitious challenges of the modern world.
