Five employees (Piotr Perlin, Tomek Sochacki, Ania Kafar, Gosia Iwińska and Szymon Stańczyk) will represent our Institute during the 3rd International Conference on Light Emitting Devices and Their Industrial Applications (LEDIA '15) as part of the 4th Optics and Photonics International Congress (OPIC2015) (22nd-24th April 2015, Pacifico-Yokohama, Japan). Three main topics of LEDIA '15 are: i/laser diode and its applications, ii/ LED and its applications, and iii/ deep ultraviolet light-emitting devices.

Two of the oral presentations are Invited Talks. Piotr Perlin will report a progress in high power blue laser diode array for various applications. Tomek Sochacki will present current status of HVPE-GaN growth. Other talks will be regarding superluminescent diodes (Ania Kafar) and HVPE-GaN growth on advanced substrates (Gosia Iwińska). Szymon Stańczyk will present an impact of top gold metallization for laser diodes preparation (poster session).
