Research capabilities and technical data
The station is used for precise measurement of the helium density of solid materials using AccuPyc II 1340 10 cm³ (Micromeritics) and AccuPyc TEC 3.5 cm³ (Micromeritics) helium pycnometers. It enables the determination of bulk density with high accuracy, regardless of the shape and porosity of the material. The station allows for the testing of powders, granules, porous materials, and solids with complex structures. Thanks to the use of helium, which penetrates even micropores, it is possible to accurately determine the true density of porous and composite materials.
