ADMISSIONS to the Warsaw PhD School in Natural and BioMedical Sciences [Warsaw-4-PhD]

The first round of admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year at the Warsaw PhD School in Natural and BioMedical Sciences [Warsaw-4-PhD] begins on 18 May 2026.

The Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences invites those interested in pursuing a PhD in physics to apply for the following projects carried out at our Institute:

Project Title: Fabrication and Optimization of Nitride and Nitride-Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells
Supervisor: Julita Smalc-Koziorowska, D.S., Eng., Prof. at the IHPP PAS
PhD positions available: 1

Schedule for the first admission round for the academic year 2026/2027:

• 4 May 2026 – admissions announcement
• 18 May 2026 – start of the recruitment process, launch of the recruitment portal
• 31 May 2026 – deadline for applications
• 31 May – 8 June 2026 – documents verification
• 8 – 16 June 2026 – sending out invitations for interviews
• 24 June – 3 July 2026 – interviews with candidates
• 7 July 2026 – announcement of admission results
