IWC PAN dołącza do programu ASPIRE

As of 1 April 2026, the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IHPP PAS, UNIPRESS) has joined the ASPIRE programme led by Prof. Hiroshi Amano of Nagoya University.

ASPIRE (Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem) is a programme of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) that supports international research partnerships and the mobility of scientists. The inclusion of IHPP PAS strengthens international collaboration in the field of advanced semiconductor materials, in particular research on GaN and ultra-wide bandgap materials.

Other participants in Prof. Amano’s project currently include the University of Padova (Italy), the University of Bristol (UK), Cornell University, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of Maryland, Stanford University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.
