The Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW2026) conference took place in Kumamoto, Japan, from May 24–28, 2026.
This international conference brings together scientists and entrepreneurs interested in a wide range of topics related to semiconductors, including: structure growth, processing, optoelectronics (lasers, optical amplifiers, sensors), semiconductor physics, materials science, spintronics, quantum technologies, MEMS/NEMS, and other innovative solutions. The conference focuses on III-V semiconductors such as GaAs, InP, and GaN, II-VI semiconductors, semiconductor oxides, and organic semiconductors. This year, CSW2026 gathered over 500 participants.
We are proud to share that Dr Szymon Stańczyk from our Institute was one of the invited speakers with a lecture titled: “Recent Progress and Novel Approaches of InGaN Laser Diodes and Superluminescent Diodes.”
