Research capabilities and technical data
The Turbiscan LAB research station is used to assess the stability of liquid samples such as emulsions, suspensions, dispersions, and foams. The device allows you to monitor changes in the sample without diluting it or interfering with the system. The analyzer uses multiple light scattering, simultaneously measuring transmission and backscattered light as a function of sample height. This makes it possible to detect destabilization processes such as sedimentation, creaming, flocculation, coalescence, and foam drainage. The measurement is carried out at a controlled temperature, which allows the simulation of actual product storage conditions. The station enables a quick and non-destructive assessment of the stability of liquid systems.
